Privacy statement

Who we are

This website, workwithmove.com, is run by Move Investments B.V. (“MOVE”, “we”, “us”), Lange Wijden 46, 8081 VV Elburg, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 93894996. We are the controller for the personal data described in this statement.

What this website does not do

This website has one form: the contact step of Growth Benchmarks, described below. It has no accounts, and no analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies or third-party embeds. Fonts and media are served from our own site.

What data we process

When you visit the website. Our hosting provider processes technical data that every browser sends: your IP address, browser and device information (user agent), the page requested and the time of the request.

When you email us. If you email us, we process your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

When you use Growth Benchmarks. Before the calculator shows your results, it asks for your name, email address and phone number, and whether you would like growth tips from us (optional). We use these details to show you your benchmarks and to contact you about relevant services. The figures you enter stay in your browser and are not sent to us. If you ask for your report by email, we process the email address you enter and send the PDF report, which contains your figures, to that address.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

• Delivering and securing the website (technical data): our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Replying to your email: our legitimate interest in answering questions sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Growth Benchmarks: your consent, given in the calculator (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal.
• Following up a possible engagement: taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and performing that agreement once it exists (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Keeping records we are required to keep, such as client administration for tax purposes: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only with providers that help us run the website and our email:

• Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website (Cloudflare Pages and its content delivery network) and processes the technical data described above.
• Our email provider, which stores and transmits the emails you send us.
• ClickUp, where we keep the contact details you give in Growth Benchmarks.
• Resend, which sends the Growth Benchmarks report to the email address you enter.

These providers act as processors on our behalf. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EEA

Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on a safeguard recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, which is why it shows no cookie banner. Our hosting provider may place a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the website against abuse. Such cookies do not require consent and are not used to follow you. After you complete the contact step of Growth Benchmarks, your browser remembers that in its local storage, so the calculator does not ask again; nothing is sent to us with it.

How long we keep your data

• Emails: as long as needed to handle your message or a resulting engagement, and up to two years after our last contact. Where a legal obligation requires longer, such as the seven-year fiscal retention period for client administration, we keep the relevant records for that period.
• Growth Benchmarks contact details: until you withdraw your consent, and at most two years after our last contact.
• Server logs: kept by Cloudflare for a short period in line with its own retention policy, then deleted.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised access. The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to our email is limited to the people who need it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have incorrect data corrected (rectification);
• have your data deleted (erasure);
• restrict how we process it;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
• receive your data in a portable format (data portability).

To use any of these rights, email us. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the supervisory authority in your own EU country.
